What is an assignment of rights?

It corresponds to a consensual contract that constitutes the transfer of property from the transferor to another person (transferee) who receives it, and makes it his own domain.

In real estate matters, it means that the owner or transferor may transfer partial or total rights of his property to the transferee, temporarily or indefinitely, under different conditions, all with the purpose of providing security, both to the owner of the property and to the person who obtains the rights.
